MARJORIE Armstrong of Little Lever writes:
"What has happened to crowd segregation? Not a lot, judging by the amount of Everton who were in the middle of the Bolton fans on Saturday.
"Saturday's game was one of the ones which should have been made all-ticket, instead of which it looked as if the ticket office had sold tickets to anyone who wanted to purchase one.
"This was one of those games when tickets should not have been sold on the day. It is no wonder that there was trouble in some sections of the ground due to the fact that tickets had been sold to Everton fans in the Bolton sections.
"I hope that the club will see sense before the Manchester United game in January. "At the next big match before the United game anyone, apart from season ticket holders, should be issued with a voucher enabling them to purchase a ticket for the United match, otherwise I can foresee the same problems happening again.
"With a little foresight, this was something which could have been avoided."
