I AM a season ticket holder in the Upper West Stand.

Our seats are behind a group of four that have been occupied by away supporters at almost every home game this season.

I wrote to the club to complain about this after the Newcastle game, during which the atmosphere around became quite strained when the people celebrated loudly as Newcastle scored.

I have been told (by speaking to one of those occupying these seats) that they are owned by a Bolton company who is then giving away these tickets to supporters of visiting teams through some work related perk.

In my letter to the club I asked for assurances they would investigate and make sure that the seats for the Everton game were not occupied by visiting supporters.

I received no reply to my letter and of course the seats were again occupied by visiting supporters.

Again the atmosphere in this area was strained and uncomfortable. Season ticket holders in this area have not paid over £300 to sit among visiting supporters, not least as our enjoyment and safety are being compromised.

I telephoned the club on Monday to ask if something was being done and was told that my letter hadn't been dealt with as the club was 'unsure whose responsibility it was!'

Perhaps the large number of letters on the subject may spur the club into doing something about this problem, which if not addressed quickly could lead to a serious incident taking place.
