SALFORD outfit Kersal Vale head the Leigh League Division One table by three point.
They strolled to a 11-1 away win at bottom club FC Legion, while first half goals from Chris Greeley and Aaron Green saw George VI to a 2-1 home win over Moonraker.
Royal Oak goalkeeper Paul Zostoock saved a last minute penalty at home to second in the table Rope & Anchor as earlier goals form Jason Huyton with a hat-trick and John France earned a memorable 4-0 win. Ross Prentis had a great day scoring all four of Leigh Avenue's goals in a 4-2 home victory over Three Crowns A.
In Division Two,Aaron Walker , two, and a goal from Paul White saw joint leaders Howe Bridge Mills to a 3-2 win at Ukranian Club, Neil Hindley and Steve Crossley scoring for the hosts. Fellow table-toppers Courts bounced back from a two goal deficit at Concert Inn to win 8-3. Andy Hughes and Danny Jackson appeared to have put the Atherton side in the driving seat but Courts tool all three points with goals from Steve Woods and Shaun Priest (both 2), Wayne Higham, Stuart Pickup, Craig Sweeney and Jams Dooley. Mick Lyons got Concert's third. Three Crowns B took a two goal interval lead through Jamie Shepherd and Martin Foster but visitors Bowling Green bounced back for a 2-2 draw through Lee Coleman and Dave Clarke.
