THE Monday Premier produced enthralling games this week.

Charisma and the Outsiders met in an almighty clash.

Both sides wanted to give nothing away and in the early stages of the game the football was very cagey. As the game wore on both sides were looking for that little extra that would separate the men from the boys meaning goals were flying in at both ends.

However, it was The Outsiders who found the extra edge and won the game 17-15. This result kept them among the top and meant the gap between first and third was now only two points. Charisma, however, are still in the relegation dog fight as they can only raise their game against the very best.

Fat Bob of the Tuesday Third almost caused the shock of the week when they met high-flying Al Bundy's in what has to be one of the lowest scoring games of the Premier Fives' history. King's Men were expecting to increase their already impressive goal difference but the Fat Bob keeper had other ideas. He kept Al Bundy's out until the dying minutes when he couldn't quite keep up his awesome performance and conceded two late goals. This made the game 5-3 leaving Al Bundy's still strong for the title -- just.

Real Goonies had to win this week's game as they were aiming to stay among the front runners of the Wednesday Fourth. They played PC5s in a thrilling encounter where goals came thick and fast. A win for PC5s would have put them clear at the top but this was not to happen. Real Goonies took an early lead they were never to relinquish and they won the game 10-9. This result now leaves the top five teams separated by only four points.

We are currently looking for teams to compete in our Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday evening leagues. Anyone wanting information can contact reception on 525333.
