BOLTON'S young talent intend to put audiences under their spell during their next production which begins on Thursday, November 22.
The members of the Children's Amateur Theatre Company, CATS, present Godspell from November 22 to 24, at the Theatre Church, Seymour Road, Astley Bridge, 7.30pm.
The production follows the group's previous success with Fame. Louise Cohen will once again direct and choreograph the production.
The main role of Jesus will be played by 18-year-old Christian Brabin who has been a member of CATS since 1994 when he first became interested in acting.
Previous principal roles include the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz and Nick Piazza in Fame.
He was a member of Bolton Octagon Youth Theatre for three years and has also appeared as the Artful Dodger in Oliver and Barnaby Tucker in Hello Dolly for other amateur operatic and dramatic societies in the area.
Christian is currently studying performing arts at John Moores University, Liverpool.
Other main parts are being played by James Eccleshare, Daniel Whitehead, Jonathan Cunliffe, Matthew Gavin, Katie Warburton, Lizy Oakes, Rebecca Brown, Katherine Davies and Amy Sandiford.
