POLICE are still questioning three men and a woman in connection with a series of armed robberies in Bolton and Salford.
About 80 officers executed 10 search warrants yesterday during dawn raids at a number of addresses in Manchester.
A 26-year-old man and a 19-year-old man from Salford, a 32-year-old man from Clifton and a 28-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
The searches were part of Operation Botany, which is jointly run by Salford Crescent and Bolton Central CID officers.
Robberies being investigated include a raid on Kearsley Post Office and the Royal Bank of Scotland in Little Lever on September 11.
