KEVIN Nolan gave Wanderers a scare yesterday when he limped out of training with a foot injury.
But early checks suggest the powerful young midfielder will be available for Sunday's Sky TV Premiership showpiece game at Ipswich.
"We don't envisage it being a problem," Sam Allardyce said optimistically.
The manager is also confident that Simon Charlton, who is back in training after suffering a calf injury in the home draw with Everton 12 days ago, will also be fit for the Ipswich trip.
Jussi Jaaskelainen remains a doubt though. The keeper, who pulled out of the Everton game after injuring his back in the warm-up, is waiting to see if he suffers any reaction after stepping up his training programme.
Wanderers' search for a goalkeeper has taken them back to Jaaskelainen's native Finland. But an un-named trialist has failed to impress Allardyce.
Dean Holden, who has started a second month on loan at Oldham, has been told he cannot play in Saturday's FA Cup tie against non-league Barrow.
