A LONG-distance runner was named Bury Woman Of The Year at a gala lunch attended by nearly two hundred guests.
Marie Caldwell, aged 64, was chosen from 22 nominees, for achieving more than 20 British and six European records for long distance running, at the same time, raising thousands for various charities.
The event, held at Bury Town Hall was in aid of Bury Hospice.
