A MEMBER of the Bolton Mountain Rescue team has been sharing his knowledge with colleagues in Ireland.
Mike Marsh, who has been with the organisation for 15 years and lives in Deane, spent a weekend teaching specialist skills to a group of 20 people in the countryside around Dublin.
The 35-year-old, who works as a purchasing scheduler in Westhoughton, taught the Irish rescue teams new ways to carry out rescues, searches and debriefing sessions.
Mr Marsh said: "It was an excellent course and I really enjoyed it."
