POLICE were called after customer Alan Cooper became increasingly aggressive towards pub staff, a court heard.
Cooper, aged 30, continued to be obstructive and even threatened the landlord before he was arrested.
The trouble flared at the Hare and Hounds in Bury when Cooper and another man refused to hand over their glasses at 11.45pm when they were asked to leave.
Cooper from Church Street West, Radcliffe, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
Because the incident was aggravated on licensed premises and because he ignored police warnings to leave, the court put Cooper under a 12 months rehabilitation order and ordered him to pay £55 court costs.
