STAFF at the National Football Museum are racing against the clock to raise money for Children in Need -- by visiting Bolton Wanderers, a founder member of the Football League.
Today curators will attempt to race from Preston to visit soccer clubs including Wolves, Aston Villa, Notts County, Derby, Stoke, Everton, Bolton, Burnley and Accrington before arriving in Blackburn 12 hours later.
They are expected to be met by club mascots at each venue and the event is to raise awareness of the history behind football -- and to bring in cash for the BBC Children in Need appeal.
