RAISING money for charity proved child's play for youngsters at Ladybridge Primary School, Bolton.
The pupils played sponsored games after storytime bringing in over £600 for the Children's Hospitals Appeal Trust.
The Trust is currently funding a parental suite at the Royal Bolton Hospital giving parents new family rooms to stay near their newborn baby overnight.
Beverley Roby from the charity said: "The children have worked very hard and we are delighted by the support also shown by staff.
"They have been very enthusiastic about the children here raising money for such a worth-while cause." Schools throughout Bolton have been busy raising money for the hospital's new parental suite which is due to open at the Princess Anne Maternity Unit later this month.
