A MAN has been sent to the Crown Court for trial charged with the murder of a father-of-three whose badly burnt body was found on moorland.
Tasawar Hussain, aged 36, of Bromwich Street, the Haulgh, appeared before Bolton magistrates yesterday.
He is alleged to have murdered Shadaz Fayyaz, aged 31, of Rishton Lane, Great Lever, Bolton, on Saturday.
His body was found by two youngsters in a field off George's Lane, Horwich, on Sunday at about 10.40am.
A post-mortem examination found that Mr Fayyaz died of head injuries and his body was set on fire.
Dressed in a black T-shirt and blue tracksuit bottoms, Hussain spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
He was remanded in custody until he appears at Manchester Crown Court on November 21.
