A NEW publication which details safe cycling routes around the borough of Bolton has been launched.
Cycle Trax in Bolton contains detailed maps and information such as security, shops and national cycle network.
Bolton Council has taken on the innovative task of developing a safe, convenient and accessible cycle network to encourage more people to get on their bikes.
Cllr John Byrne said: "We aim to improve travel to Bolton and within the borough through an integrated approach to transport.
"Cycling can improve fitness, develop good health and by using your bike, you will be encouraging environmental awareness."
