OFFICE staff underpin many institutions -- especially schools and colleges.
And at Canon Slade School in Bolton, the office staff were acknowledged this week for their hard work, thanks to a nomination for the BEN Bouquet of the Week.
Teacher Brian Liptrot nominated them. He said: "As well as the usual office duties, such as dealing with countless telephone calls and e-mails, we have a Reprographics and Finance section who are just as busy.
"Despite their hectic work schedule, the ladies at Canon Slade are forever courteous and friendly to each and every one of us, staff and pupils.
"Led by Mrs Tracey Tunstall, our office staff will always go out of their way to oblige and help, be it the headmaster or the smallest First Year pupil.
"I am therefore recommending them for your Bouquet of the Week -- each and every one of them deserves a bouquet."
Mrs Tunstall and the staff were both surprised and delighted to receive the lovely bouquet, which came courtesy of Caroline Ward's flower and gift delivery service (freephone 0800 289 335).
IF you know someone who deserves our weekly bouquet, write and tell us about them (including their daytime telephone number) to: Bouquet Of The Week, Angela Kelly, Features Dept, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton BL1 1DE.
