A BREIGHTMET youngster is looking forward to the trip of a lifetime when she will meet Santa in Lapland.
Frankie Warburton-Watts, aged three, will be travelling with at least 12 other excited Bolton children to meet Santa at his home in December thanks to the fund-raising efforts of a dancing club.
Alison Power, who runs the Saturdays club with her sister-in-law, Mandy Heron, has booked the trip to Lapland for needy local youngsters and is funding the £18,000 holiday through dancing shows.
Frankie's mother, Alison Watts, aged 37, who also has a son, aged 17, and a 13-year-old daughter, nominated Frankie to take part in the trip as a special treat as she suffers from cerebral palsy and a genetic disorder which makes her pass kidney stones.
Frankie, who is a member of St Osmund's play group, spent a lot of time in hospital after being born three months premature.
Alison, who will be accompanying Frankie on the trip, said: "We are really looking forward to going, but I think she is a bit apprehensive about meeting Santa.
"Frankie is a very timid little girl, but I'm hoping that as it gets nearer to us going she will tell all her friends at nursery."
A group of about 80 people will be jetting off to Lapland, including youngsters from the Saturdays club, whose parents are also helping pay for the trip. EXCITED: Three-year-old Frankie Warburton-Watts can't wait to meet SantaRef: 3570/2a
