I WAS delighted to read in this evening's BEN the good news that the people of Farnworth are to get their public toilets replaced.
Why, in God's name, were the old ones on the market bus station closed down?
They were always clean and well kept and were always my first port of call as I used to shop regularly once or twice a week there. But, sadly, after they were closed, I have only visited on the odd occasion.
So, I say, good luck to the persons on the council who, at last, have seen common sense and also good luck to the good people of Farnworth who have campaigned so long for the reintroduction of public loos.
