CONGRATULATIONS on Gordon Sharrock's interpretation of the infamous 'knight' at Ipswich - a fair representation of what occured.
I was present at Portman Road on the evening in question and have never felt as cheated as I did coming out of that game.
As for the Ipswich reporter's interpretation, well, what a load of nonsense.
He mentions the fact that Ipswich should have had a penalty in the Reebok game . . . does he not realise that everyone understands that every now and again a mistake is made. A penalty is given or not given when the eveidence proves otherwise?
That is part of the game. What the Bolton fans complain about is 17 decisions against us: 12 yellow cards, 2 reds and 3 penalties) and 0 against Ipswich.
I f this had happened to a high profile team then there would have been some serious investigations but as it was Bolton the chances are we will never know why.
