MIKE Whitlow is getting shirty with his Premiership opponents ... but it is all in a good cause.

The Wanderers' defender is collecting shirts to boost his old mate Bob Taylor's testimonial fund.

The former Reebok striker has been granted a benefit for his services to West Brom, where he is still as big a favourite with Baggies' fans in his second spell as he was before he joined Wanderers' 1997-98 Premiership campaign.

But Taylor is not getting them all with Whitlow's young sons having already placed their orders with dad.

"I'm keeping Emile Heskey's and Robbie Elliotts's because Nathan is Robbie Elliott-mad, Ryan's Heskey-mad and I've kept Matty Elliott's for all the family because it's a Leicester shirt," Whitlow Snr explained after adding to his collection at Ipswich, "but the rest are for going to help Super Bob's testimonial next year.

"He's a legend and deserves it."
