A BOLTON conservatory roof company has entered the Russian market.
K2, based at the Burnden Works in Burnden Road, has signed a long-term partnership agreement with Russian conservatory company Albion 2 Ltd.
The firm's president, Yuri Ossipov, says home owners in Russia are now beginning to "understand the aspirational and lifestyle benefits that a conservatory can offer" and realising that they add value to property. "After searching the market we felt that the K2 system was the obvious choice in offering both us and our country exactly what is needed," he said.
Mr Jim Sheffield of K2 said: "The partnership with Albion 2 Ltd will provide us with an excellent foothold in which to generate the awareness of the K2 system within the rapidly developing Russian market.
"The continued rapid growth of K2 will further secure employment for the workforce and, indeed, we will be looking to recruit further staff."
