BOLTON Under 15s bid for their first win in the Greater Manchester Schools' League when they travel to take on Stockport at Kingsway School on Saturday.
The local youngsters, who are missing key players to the demands of professional clubs' academy teams, have made a disappointing start to the season losing all six games played so far.
But optimistic boss Jason Nash will be hoping that his team will half that run this weekend.
Bolton Under 14s, who recorded their first win of the season 1-0 al Liverpool last week, have a Greater Manchester Schools' League match against Stockport at Sharples School on Saturday, kick off 10.30a.m.
The Under 14s are still looking for their first win in the league though after losing two and drawing two of their four matches played so far.
Bury officials Mick Kay and Alan Smith will be holding trials for the Under 14s town team at the Derby School on Saturday.
It's the first time for several years that Bury have been unable to field a team in the Greater Manchester Schools competitions but Smith is still hopeful that a teacher will step forward to take the team after the trials.
