GREYHOUND overtake The Hare is the big news in Section Four. The Greyhound take a two-point lead over the Hare and Hounds after only conceding three frames in as many games, but both teams must keep a close eye on the Oasis B lurking in third place with a vital game in hand.

After two defeats on the bounce in the team KO, at the hands of table-toppers Patriots, The Deaf Mixed finally got the result they desperately wanted, the 3-0 whitewash of the Patriots must be the biggest upset of the season so far in either cup or League games. After taking out a team some 30 positions above them in the League, the Deaf Mixed must have no fears about their round two tie against The Queen Anne. "The Fly on the Wall" tie of round two must be Rovers v Beasts. The Rovers, who have yet to record a win against the Beasts must feel that their time has come and this could be their opportunity to put one over their arch rivals who, this season, have a much depleted team.
