IT's hard to stop goalkeepers making the headlines at the moment writes Chris Sudlow
Whether you love him, or believe he is a defensive liability, Fabien Barthez is rarely out of the news.
One person who definitely does love him is supermodel girlfriend Linda Evangelista.
And on top of that she revealed this week she loves Manchester city too.
That's city, with a small "c" so do not get too excited, you Blues!
She loves the place because it reminds her of her home town in Ontario . . . industry, mills and factories.
The £1.2m penthouse she shares with Fab in the city centre might help a bit, as well.
Another keeper in the news is Arsenal's Richard Wright. Arsene Wenger made the bold decision to replace Wright at half-time in the Champions League match at La Coruna.
Some reports suggested Wright was injured. The fact Wright had a stinker, and let in two goals, might have had more to do with it.
This swings the attention onto another keeper - Wright's deputy, youngster Stuart Taylor, is now set to face champions United in tomorrow's clash at Highbury.
Taylor will not be phased facing United's stars, as he mixed with some of them when former England manager Kevin Keegan let him train with the national squad.
Taylor said: "I faced quite as few of David Beckham's free-kicks out there and one or two just flew by me -but I'm looking forward to meeting him again."
