MARATHON enthusiast Dougie Tobutt will be racing to a different continent next year in a bid to raise funds for Bolton Hospice.
The Astley Bridge sports shop owner was due to compete in the Rio marathon in Brazil last month, but it was cancelled at the last minute after sponsors pulled out. But Dougie did not give up and now has a place in the Dubai marathon on January 11 -- his 80th race.
Anyone who wants to help him raise funds for the hospice can contact him on 308506 or the hospice office on 520040.
