AN exhibition of paintings and calligraphy by Japanese artists with disabilities is being held at Bolton Museum and Art Gallery. Called "Able Art -- Echoes of the Spirit", the display will run from December 15 until February 23.
Work by Bolton Artists with Disabilities will also feature in the exhibition which is aimed at celebrating the diversity and beauty of art created by people with disabilities. Japan 2001 is a year-long celebration of Japanese culture being held throughout the UK. The museum and art gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10am until 5pm. Admission is free.
