PUBLIC transport users in Bolton and Bury have been given a boost by the publication of a new network map. Twelve detailed maps covering each Greater Manchester region have replaced GMPTE's former Network Map. The maps are based on aerial photography and will feature, landmarks and local information. Bus and rail networks will also be highlighted.
Daubhill Cllr Guy Harkin, vice-chairman of Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority, said: "The authority is striving to provide a fully integrated, accessible and reliable public transport system." The maps are available in Travelshops and public libraries. Detailed street maps will also be displayed at Bolton bus stops.
