CHILDREN'S TV presenter Lizzie Botham took a break from filming to go back to her old school.
The roving art expert on CBBC's SmART programme dropped into Affetside School, Watling Street, Bury, to boost the painting prowess of youngsters.
Some of the children had contributed pictures to the show's gallery slot, which is aired on the programme each week.
Headteacher Sue Porter said: "The children were very excited when they saw her. She spent time with them and they chatted about art. We're grateful she could pop in."
Mrs Porter taught Lizzie and said she always had a keen interest in art, drama and music.
