BOLTON Pianos and Barnstormers had a close match in division one as excellent attacking play by Sam Halliwell for Pianos and Marie Morgan for their opponents meant a one goal difference at half time.
The two teams were evenly matched in the second half, the match finishing 23 all.
Clare Warwick, goalkeeper for St. Bonifaces defended well in the second half but he side could not make up the deficit on Darcy Lever who won 27-26 goals.
High Spirits in Division 3 suffered their first defeat of the season against Walkden B. Level 12-12 at half-time, Walkden B's goal shooter L Alcock, converted all her shots to give victory by six goals. Steph Locke for High Spirits was voted Player of the Match.
Bupa B and Hanson in Division 4 had a closely fought game. S. Cooker, goal defence for Hanson held Bupa B to eight goals in the first half. Lisa Deakin intercepted several balls for Bupa B during the second half to assist her team to a 20-16 win.
Dabs Com in Division 5 were noted for their sporting attitude against Tom Bridge with Kelly Merga and Jill Pomfrit voted Players of the Match. Victory went to Tom Bridge by sixteen goals.
Only five goals separated Elite and Wingates during their game with Kim Chadwick and Sarah Carroll Players of the Match.
