PIKE View are in pole position in Section Four of the Bolton and District Winter Pool League. Pike had a good 5-2 win over Tempest Not Rights to stay top, but only by one point from Seven Stars, Little Lever. Seven Stars' 6-1 win over Gunners keeps them in second place.
In third place are White Horse Warriors, who kept their unbeaten run with a 5-2 win over Farmers Arms, Daubhill, and are only eight points adrift of the leaders.
The next Delegates Meeting is Tuesday, December 11, at the Churchills.
The Presentation Evening for the Summer 95 Pool League 2001 season is on Friday, December 7, at the Victory Reform Club, Chorley Old Road, doors open 7.30pm. Tickets at £2.50 each (first five free) are available from Phil Crompton and other committee members.
Any team having trophies from the 2000 season, please return them to the Churchills tomorrow night.
