FULHAM are giving Leigh RMI a helping hand by allowing them to auction two of their shirts to help the Railwaymen's plight.
RMI fans will remember the FA Cup matches against Fulham three seasons ago and the London club have maintained strong links since that time and trained at Hilton Park prior to their games against Bolton Wanderers in the last two seasons.
As a gesture to Leigh, they have left an autographed Fulham home football shirt on both occasions. The first one was from the Division One championship season last year and the second one, which was given last week, is of the current team.
In an attempt to raise much needed funds, Leigh have decided to auction the shirts. Fulham have given their blessing and will publicise it in their match programme next week for the game against Everton.
The auction will be held over the internet and by post and the shirts will go to the highest bids received by December 19.
To bid for either shirt contact Allen Blakeley at a.blakeley@leigh-rmi.co.uk or by post at 8 Winsford Grove, Bolton, Lancs BL3 4QD.
