IAN BARKER has re-signed for Chorley - the club he left to join North West Counties side Mossley - and began his second stint at the club in perfect fashion against Spennymoor last Saturday.

The forward scored the first goal in the UniBond First Division game to help Chorley to only their sixth win of the season.

And he could partner free-scoring Andy Mason up front at Ossett Town tomorrow.

"Mossley have just had a change of manager and I think Ian realised the stage he had at Chorley," said manager Ken Wright.

"He was our leading scorer and he gave us a cutting edge last Saturday.

"Andy Mason returned after illness and scored on Tuesday and they could well both play together tomorrow."

Wright has a host of injury problems with Danny Mills (knee) and Paul Fleming (calf) doubtful and Neil Mitchell (groin) definitely out.

"Michael Wallace played his first game for a month on Tuesday and could be in contention.

"We had a few missing on Tuesday night but I thought it was a decent performance against a higher division side.

"We had to come from behind but I thought we were in control of the game for long periods.

"We need to take confidence from the last two performances and take that into tomorrow's game.
