Bolton Under 14s bid to make it into the quarter finals of the Greater Manchester Schools' Talbot Cup when thetomorrowon Saturday, kick off 10.30a.m.
The town team have struggled to hit a winning streak this season but they broke their 'duck' a fortnight ago when they beat Liverpool 1-0 in a challeneg match on Merseyside.
However, they came unstuck in their Greater Manchester Schools' League match last weekend going down 1-0 to Stockport at Sharples School.
Bolton have already met Wigan in the League this season and they will be keen to avenge a 4-2 defeat which came on October 13.
Bury Under 15s are also in action this weekend travelling to meet Oldham in a Greater Manchester Schools' League match at Crossley Playing Fields tomorrow (10.30a.m.).
The Bury youngsters have been having a difficult time this season but they made a return to winning ways a fortnight ago when they beat Blackpool 2-1 in a challenge match at the seaside.
