REGARDING the Stroke Survey.
I was amazed by Mr K Gillard's letter in the BEN on Novem ber 28.
My dear wife also died in Royal Bolton Hospital in September after suffering a stroke.
I have nothing but praise for the care she received. At the end, there were two doctors and five or six nurses milling around her bed, doing their very best to save her.
Prior to that, she was receiving physiotherapy and making good progress, but another stray blood clot did for her.
No amount of extra money would have altered these circumstances.
