Cars 1-96 supplied with open-tops -- upper saloons added later by Bolton.
Cars 49-81 had upper balconies enclosed by Bolton in the late 20s.
Cars 82-96 scrapped during the mid-30s.
Cars 97-103 and 107-130 supplied with upper saloons; their balconies later enclosed by Bolton.
Cars 104-106 rebuilt as totally-enclosed cars by English Electric.

Four-wheel trucks and eight-wheel bogies were American Brill type built in UK under licence.
The Brush cars and the EE cars 139-150 had Brush trucks or bogies almost identical to Brill.
