POLICE have issued a fresh appeal for information after an amateur photographer was robbed at knifepoint.
The 22-year-old, from the Daubhill area of Bolton, was left shocked but unhurt after the incident in a country lane near the Black Dog Inn, Belmont, at 1.45pm last Wednesday.
His attacker pointed a knife towards him, threatened him and stole his Fuji digital camera and computer equipment, including a Acer lap-top, worth £1,830.
The photographer had just stepped out of his W-registered gold-coloured Citroen Saxo car when the robbery occurred.
The thief is described as white, aged between 25 and 30 with short ginger hair and a distinctive goatee beard. He wore a light coloured jacket and green track-suit bottoms.
Police in Darwen have appealed for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact them on 01254 353841.
