Radcliffe Boro 3 Leek Town 1
BORO hit a top note to move five points clear at the top of the Unibond Division One table.
The home victory over third placed Leek was never in doubt after a fourth minute opener when Simon Kelly powered into the danger area, fed Jody Banim, then headed home the return.
Boro keeper Danny Hurst smothered a shot from Martin Ridley then watched in admiration as Leek's Kevin Welsby produced a stunning save to deny Eamonn Elliott. Boro increased the lead two minutes before the break as Kelly's persistence allowed Elliott to volley home from eight yards. On 54 minutes Banim smacked in the third off the underside of the crossbar from Richard Landon's cross.
Leek scrambled a goal back on 67 minutes through substitute Simon Tucker.
