BOLTON Chamber Choir has appointed Peter Gunston as its new musical director, and performs its first concert with him on Friday night.
The event, Christmas music Old and New will be at St Thomas of Canterbury, Heaton, starting at 7.30pm.
Peter is organist and director of music for the Parish of Didsbury, and was recently appointed musical director of The Tatton Singers and The Oriana Choral Society, Macclesfield. Until last year he was tutor in harmony and aural perception for the junior school section of the Royal Northern College of Music. He is also involved with the Bridgewater Hall Community Trust.
