SPORTS personality and businessman Rob Andrew hosted a Bury event organised by Business Link North Manchester.
"Making Teamwork work" was the theme of the session at the Village Hotel in Bury.
Rob Andrew is England's most-capped fly half, making 70 appearances for England and scoring 396 points.
He is Director of Rugby at Newcastle Rugby Football Club and at the end of 1999 he was appointed by the Rugby Football Union to head a task force for the restructuring of the game in England.
The Bury event, which was led by the Organisation Development Team at Business Link North Manchester, was designed to demonstrate how businesses could provide a working environment which encourages the continuous development of their staff.
It attracted more than 120 business representatives and took them through the behaviours necessary to convert good intention into hard results.
Business Link North Manchester covers Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Wigan.
Anne Cooke, Organisation Development Manager at Business Link North Manchester, said: "We hope that the event helped guests to understand more about how they can use staff training and development to gain higher productivity, greater competitiveness, higher customer satisfaction and improved internal communication."
The Organisation Development team helps with business planning, management development, communication, training programmes, performance reviews and introducing the nationally-recognised Investors in People standard.
