A MAN was caught on security cameras stealing from shops in Bury twice in one day, a court heard.
Bury magistrates heard that Khalid Din, aged 22, was first seen at the Littlewoods store.
He was seen with another man as they picked up a several pairs of jeans valued at £105 and walked out. Just hours later the two men were seen going into Marks and Spencer. Just 30 seconds after going in, they emerged and ran away from the scene.
Police officers carried out a search of the area and, although they could not find the two men, they did find nine packets of gammon steaks in M&S packaging which had been dumped.
Din, from Bolton Road, Bury, pleaded guilty to two charges of theft.
The case was adjourned until December 27 for pre-sentence reports to be prepared. Bail was given.
