YOUNG boxing ace Amir Khan continued an incredible winning streak with one of his best victories when he represented England.
Khan, a fourth year pupil at Smithills High School who trains at Bury Amateur Boxing Club, beat his Irish opponent P Lockhart, who was 12 months older, after a hard-fought tussle.
It was an excellent match as both boxers were strong and well experienced, but Amir had the flair and in the end won the fight comfortably and the trophy for the best bout. England won the event held at Ipswich by 10-6.
