We're off to see the wizard!
Pupils and teachers at St Michael's CE Primary School, Green Lane, Bolton, held their annual book week.
The whole school dressed as their favourite characters from books they have read, including Pinocchio, Little Red Riding Hood and The Cat in the Hat.
The annual event is staged to encourage children to take up reading regularly and show that books can be fun.
School pupils and teachers showing off their Wizard of Oz costumes are, from left, Jo Briggs, Year 2 teacher, Drew Livesy, aged 11, Daisy Briercliffe, aged six, Georgina Pickton, aged six, and Janet Westwell, headteacher.
