MOTORISTS Paul Taylor and Penny Rudolph have clocked thousands of miles to bring in cash for a children's charity.
The Westhoughton couple joined hundreds of Mini drivers from across Europe to take part in a rally which ended in Imola, San Marino -- the home of Formula One motor racing.
It is the third time the couple have taken part in the event and they raised £2,500 for the National Children's Homes.
Once at Imola, home of the San Marino Grand Prix, Paul, aged 38 and Penny, aged 39, were put through their paces at top Formula One race tracks of Ducatti and Ferrari.
Paul, of Allesley Close, said: "It was great fun. Since the Italian Job started 12 years ago, the total raised is more than £1 million."
The couple were sponsored by Accrington Mini and BMW dealership Bowker.
