Lancashire Amateur League BURY GSOB threw away a two goal interval lead in a disappointing 3-2 defeat at Hesketh Casuals.
Andy Myers got the opener when he followed up Pete Lee's shot which rebounded off the crossbar and on the half hour mark Ian Riggs curled in a beauty for the second.
Amazingly having hardly looked threatening in the first half the home team bounced back for all three points with three goals in 20 minutes. Full back Dave Bracegirdle was Bury's star man.
"We've got to roll our sleeves up. It's going to be a tough battle to stay in this division," stated Old Bolts manager Peter Cooper after seeing his side go down 2-0 to Lymm.
Goalkeeper Andy Lees was named as man of the match with teammates Paul Rouke (head clash) and Simon Neal (knee) taken to hospital with bad cuts from separate incidents.
Radcliffe Amateurs went top of Division One on goal difference but with two games in hand on fellow challengers Walshaw with a 5-1 away win at Old Mancunians.
Dave Wilkinson's half time pep talk saw his side bounce back from going a goal behind to win comfortably with Shaun Scully netting twice, Steve Tuke and brothers Scott and Brett Hannah once. Midfielder Rick Stevens was again named as star man.
On the reserve front, Bolton County's Wilkinson family had a good day, dad Steve, manager of the third team, saw his side beat Old Bolts 7-0 and son Ross scored a hat-trick for the 4ths in a 6-1 home win over Thornleigh.
Bury Ams -2nds beat Horwich RMI 4-2 (Matt Grimes (2), Darren Channon, Leon McGuire), Bury GSOB 2nds bat Old Bolts 5-2 (Paul Hagan, Dave Holland, Dave Watson, Nigel Teesdale, og).
Horwich RMI 2nds lost 4-2 to Bury Ams (Sean Bradbury, Steve Aldcroft), thirds lost 7-1 to Acc Ams. Radcliffe Ams 2nds lost 3-2 at home to Chads (John Tennant, Martin Sylvester - mom Danny McGlynn).
Thornleigh 2nds lost 2-1 to Acc Ams (Noel Clarkson - mom - Dave Slammin), 4ths lost 6-1 to Bolton County (Glyn Davenport - mom Chris Conniffe). Wyresdal 2nds lost 10-3 at Walkden, 3rds drew 3-3 with Lymm.
