RIVINGTON music Society's Christmas Concert will be held on Friday, December 21.
Christmas with Counterpoint takes place at Rivington Parish Church from 7.30pm.
Counterpoint comprises six well-known performers from the North-west. Their repertoire for the evening will include traditional and modern music, readings and Christmas fun.
A candlelight approach through the churchyard will set the scene for the evening. Tickets, £8, include mince pies and mulled wine.
