Henrik Pedersen has played his way back into Wanderers' Premiership reckoning in double-quick time.
The Danish striker made a surprise return in the Worthington Cup tie at Spurs on Tuesday after 10 weeks on the sidelines and earned glowing praise from Sam Allardyce.
"He was our shining light," the manager said, finding a silver lining in the cloud of the 6-0 drubbing. "He is typical of what we are about, the attitude we show. It was his first game back and he played the full 90 minutes."
