CONGRATULATIONS to all concerned in getting the banning order on Shane Gibbons.
This the best news the BEN has published for years. At last, the law abiding citizens of Bolton are getting a small bit of protection from the criminal element.
All to often we are told that these yobs have "rights", and the law enforcement agencies seem to go out of their way to protect the "rights" of these anti social parasites, may be the tide has now turned, and the good people of Bolton will get more of their right "to have a peaceful, happy and fearless life".
Let's hope that now, these orders will be used, and enforced, without the delay that has brought so much misery, to the long suffering people of the Oldhams estate.
