RADCLIFFE Boro entertain Eastwood Town tomorrow at Stainton Park looking for a confidence building victory to erase memories of last weekend's 1-0 setback at Matlock Town and the 3-1 midweek League Cup defeat at Premier Division Accrington Stanley.
Despite that Matlock result Boro still head the Unibond Division One table by two points but the cushion over second placed Harrogate Town has narrowed to two points with the Yorkshiremen having three games in hand.
The group stage of the League Cup has brought little joy and just one win in the four games played looks highly unlikey to earn a quarter final placing. Team affairs for Boro tomorrow will be in the capable hands of assistant boss Mike Farrelly with Kevin Glendon still sidelined through illness.
In the NWCL Division One Ramsbottom United entertain fourth placed Skelmersdale United. The Rams' midweek game at Woodleigh Sports was postponed. Manager Mike Kelly will check on the fitness of full back Mike Langhorn who is struggling to shake off a troublesome knee injury and defender Dave Roach who has an infected hand from of all things a dog bite.
Atherton LR have a home fixture against bottom of the table Flixton. In Division Two Daisy Hill travel to Bacup Boro with new signing Adrian Briggs from West Lancs League outfit Fulwood Amateurs expected to make his debut.
