DUE to bad weather conditions most fixtures were postponed yet again, but three games did go ahead.
Golborne Sports extended their top of the league position by virtue of a 4-1 victory over Highfield Grange. On song Burnett netted a hat-trick and Aspinall added one for himself. Highfield had to settle for a consolation goal.
Horwich St Mary's won their fifth league game of the season and are in fourth position in the League.
They won a close encounter with Standish Parma with Parkinson scoring his hat-trick. Adding the other two were Walker and O' Meary, as Horwich went on to win 5-3.
In the U16s Culcheth Athletic beat WJ Rangers 2-1, with Hill scoring both goals for Athletic, and Deburgh scoring theonly goal for Rangers.
