A MAN facing a charge of indecently assaulting a woman has had the case against him discharged.
Bury magistrates had previously refused jurisdiction and the case involving Michael King, of Ribble Drive, Bury, was expected to go to the Crown Court for trial.
But when the defendant appeared in court again the Crown Prosecution Service said that a committal file had not been prepared. Magistrates discharged the matter against King.
