AFTER a recent outpatient's appointment at The Royal Bolton Hospital, I was walking past "H" Block to the car park, when I noticed a number of people waiting at the bus stop.
Not unusual, except that it was a cold, very wet day, and there is NO bus shelter.
What are the hospital management's priorities? They can provide shelters for smokers, but not for patients catching the bus.
My priority would be the patients who travel to and from the hospital by bus -- and not the smokers.
Perhaps the hospital will be able to finance a nice comfortable bus shelter in the way it managed to provide smoking shelters.
I do not intend to hold my breath.
